Notes: A continuation of the Hot Shots Three Series One set, these cards had space and dinosaur backgrounds, Series One had jungle and seascape backgrounds. Artwork is similar, models once again tend toward porn stars, first names only were used. Backgrounds tend to make the artwork busy, models were usually grouped in sets of three for the first time, a trend which Hot Shots continued to use in later editions. The Promo set had three cards, was distributed outside the US and can be hard to find, the Proto(type) set was nine cards, and was distributed in the US, it is not rare.
Erin [holograms] were a extremely difficult set to complete. Holograms is actually a misnomer, the only thing holographic about these cards is an overlay on the fronts which covers a photograph of Erin. One of the cards was signed, the others were not. The Captions on Erin holograms are: Autographed edition (Erin--bust and head shot), Limited Edition Special Bonus Hologram (Erin--Full Body spread shot) Limited edition Hologram (Erin--waist and head shot). Edition size was 5000, probably much less were actually distributed. Lloyd Rabalais reports that uncut sheets of the Erin subsets were released in signed and stamped versions and unsigned, unstamped versions. The signed, stamped versions are an edition size of 750.
Pressmatch collectibles from this edition were also released later, as was done with Series One. Once again, excess stock wound up in Chronicles, there was a lot of it.
