Horror Host Graveyard Series 1 (and now Series 2)

These have been available for a while now, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew about them.

There is a 10-card set promoting TV Show Horror Hosts from years gone by.

In my area, Count Gore De Vol was the prevelant horror host. He is in this set.

The set is available for $5 and is nicely done. You can get more details here:

http://www.horrorhostgraveyard.com/

Scan of the card set:

What is interesting in this scan from their web page is that they are now showing a wrapper for the set. This is new since I got my set. Mine just came in a team bag I think. I will be looking into that more and will update this post with what I uncover.

And now, Count Gore De Vol:

Thanks for posting this Mike. I used to watch shows like this when I was younger. Creature Feature was one of my favorite Friday rituals as a kid. Just ordered these and am sure that I'll recognize some faces. Can't wait to get my set.

I asked Chris about the wrapper in the scan and this is what he told me:

Some time after the set was produced and already for sale, Mr. Lobo designed the "wrapper" design. I looked into making them into actual wrappers, but almost no one prints them and not in small runs. The one place that said they could do what I needed would have charged enough for it that I'd have had to double the price of the sets. So, I had the image printed to trading card size in color and placed in the bags, which almost makes it look like a wrapper.

I also asked if there will be a series 2, and Chris responded I am in final stages of series 2, which should be for sale sometime in March.

Looking forward to seeing Series 2....

Mike.
